52-Week Financial Lessons When You Subscribe

January 30, 2013 by Maricel Rivera Leave a Comment

Learning is its own reward, and that includes financial lessons.

I’ve said that many times in this blog already, and I probably will never tire saying so. I know I have this tendency to irritate people with the obvious, so I hope you can forgive me for that. 😀

Financial Lessons from FinancialMentor.com

In connection to that, there’s this blog I’ve recently subscribed to, and the blog owner, a financial coach in the person of Todd Tresidder, is giving away free financial lessons to his subscribers. These lessons may have been discussed in passing in the blog itself, but the lessons – financial principles – I’m talking about are exclusively available to Todd’s subscribers only.

Wealth principles 1, 2, and 3 of 5 have already been sent out. So for those who haven’t signed up yet, here’s a recap of the lessons.

Principle #1:

There are only three paths to choose from in the wealth building journey:

  • paper assets, i.e., stocks, bonds, etc.
  • real estate (not your home)
  • owning your own business

One thing that’s noteworthy about Principle #1, and you might have already spotted it, having a job is NOT included in the list.

Principle #2:

Financial advisers are in the business of managing the wealth you already built. They are not in the business of helping you build the wealth in the first place.

Principle #3:

Produce more income than you spend and invest the difference.

If you ask me, this principle is too simple that a lot of people miss the point. And as Todd said in the e-course, it’s really not rocket science, just simple, inviolable math.

This is going to be a 52-week e-course, and you still got time to catch up. Once you subscribe, aside from automatically receiving the rest of the lessons through e-mail, you also get to download a free copy of Todd’s e-book entitled 18 Essential Lessons from a Self-Made Millionaire. So there, what are you waiting for? Head on over to FinancialMentor.com, become a subscriber and claim your free rewards.
